WHAT HAPPENS AT INSTALL?

We will delivery the products on the day before delivery or on the day of delivery, depending on your preference. If we delivery the day before we would ask you to let us know the products have arrived safely and that they are stored securely.

If we are installing in a busy room it might be worth moving valuable and sentimental items away from the windows and doors so there is no risk of them being damaged.

Keeping access clear so we can move products around the house is also a good idea.

Yes in an ideal world. This is because you can see firsthand what we are doing and if any niggles crop up we can discuss these with you instantly to finalise solutions. We also need you to complete a Customer Sign Off Form with our installer once the install is completed.

It completely depends on access and the type of install. It is always a good idea for you to ensure internal access is available. Any difficult to access areas will have been identified at survey stage and we will have put a plan in place for these.

Frame first, glass second, finishings and trims etc last.

We don't like our teams to hand lift glass weights of more than 150-160KG due to the potential for issues and accidents to occur. Even at 150KG we will have a few installers lifting the glass.

Over 150-160KG we will have lifting equipment on site for the actual Glazing aspect of the job.

This completely depends on timescales allowed. For a full house of windows and doors, if you specify quicker install then we will put a larger team on the project to complete quicker. If timescale isn't an issue we may choose to deploy some installers elsewhere. The price doesn't change of course, it is more linked to timescales and availability.

Once the install is completed, our installers will walk you around the install and demonstrate the products. They will then fill out a Digital form with you. It will have the project details, internal and external images and customer and installer declarations.

1 year. If anything needs tweaking after installation it will normally crop up in that first year. If it does we will attend free of charge to rectify.
